Sens collection

Playing with conical reversed volumes and their usage possibilities, the Sens sake set highlights the Japanese tradition of the sake’s degustation, by maintaining the quality of its taste aromas in the lower part, while offering an olfactory experience in the upper part.

Starting with the archetype of the carafe, we reinterpreted its proportions and details, so as to make it specific and singular for a sake degustation experience. The final size offers a feeling of familiarity and facilitates the gripping. By adding a thick bottom glass –and thus some weight– we wanted to slow down the gesture, in order to showcase the carafe content. Indeed, sake is a precious beverage, and it requires attention and delicacy to enhance sensory experience of drinking sake.
